Me and my friends came here to get Hibachi and Sushi. We checked Google and the closing hour was 9:30, we arrived at 8:45 and thought this would be more than enough time. We were seated by a lovely waiter who was attentive, kind, and gave wonderful recommendations. The crowd there was cute and seemed to be enjoying their time at the bar-- exuding a warm and familial environment. I ordered the chicken hibachi which was amazing! It was the typical hibachi meal, fried rice, vegetables, protein, and soup and salad. And boy! Everything was on point. Our other friend who is gluten free was give an assortment of recommendations that would be gluten free and given gluten free soy sauce for her sushi!

Over all we had a wonderful experience, and at the end we were informed that the restaurant actually closes at 9:00 pm. This makes me even more impressed by our servers gracious attitude.

Overall, was an amazing experience and I will be sure to be back- next time a good while before closing time!

Sad, smelly and dirty. I remember years ago we used to crave this place. But it's now a different story.
      Wish them Good Luck.

I really want to like it but i just cant. I went there with my family and we had a decent time but most of the staff were rude and dismissive, the only exception was the bartender who was nice. Overall food was mediocre and staff was rude.

Food was good as always. We just sat at an ordinary table as we were just there for dinner and drinks. The waitress was somewhat friendly, but not overly attentive in asking if we wanted a water glass or even if we wanted another drink. My husband's drink glass was empty by the time we received our food, and stayed empty. We were not offered another beverage the whole time we had our meal. We continued to try to get her attention but she was sitting behind the bar with her back to us watching a video on her phone. We were going to ask the hostess, but she was doing the same thing. He finally wound up drinking the rest of my drink in order to wash his food down. By then we were done. After getting frustrated by not having any attention from our waitress or hostess, due to their cell phone addiction, I got up and got my own to go box, to which she decided to bring us our bill.

We have always loved this place and the food has always been delicious. No complaints on the food, however the service from our waitress was lacking! She could have easily gotten a bigger tip if she would have just paid attention, offered a water glass and asked if we would like another drink. There was no one else in our side of the restaurant, so there was no excuses to her being busy. She was literally watching videos on her phone with her back to us.

      Very disappointing!

Tried hibachi here for the first time and I will definitely be coming back. A great menu that's reasonable priced with several options. Someone at our table had an allergy, and the chef was careful to prepare his food first, to avoid contamination.

The flavor of the food was exceptional, and even after reheating the leftovers today, remained.

Portions were a little small for hibachi and the steak was cooked a little under what was asked, but other than that it was great!

I got Hibachi filet mignon and scallops with fried rice for $31 + taxes and tips. Both the steak and the scallops are flavorful. The sauces are very good. The miso soup, house salad, fried rice, and vegetables are reasonable. The ambiance is okay. Both the waiter and the Hibachi chef today are nice. It will take about half an hour between sitting down and getting the Hibachi fried rice, meat, and vegetables, so be prepared (during this interval, you can have miso soup, salad, and appetizers). I would come back and try other seafood next time.

Our cook was swearing and sharing news such as he has a house in Atlanta he doesn't need to be in Tallahassee. It was so inappropriate and not enjoyable.
I will not return. Customer service should be top priority.

      Best Sushi in Tallahassee!
Hands down this place knows what they are doing. Tallahassee isn't really known for their sushi restaurants but if you had to pick a good location there are literally 2 in town that I would give 4 stars or higher and Mori is by far one of them. They will not only make your custom rolls of favorite but the chefs here definitely know how to make authentic cuisine for sushi, sashimi and rolls, and I would give this place 2 thumbs up. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is they still don't meet that 5 stars sushi that I've had before. Overall Really Solid location.

      Disclaimer: I ONLY HAD TAKEOUT

but it was the best hibachi I've ever eaten! And it was 25 minutes after it was made so I can't even imagine how good it was when it was first made...

I had the chicken hibachi with extra vegetables and no rice. Veggies were crisp seasoned perfectly, chicken was moist perfection.

My wofe had the shrimp w rice & yum yum sauce. Normally I hate yum yum sauce, it makes me feel ill later but when we opened it, it looked different from usual so I tried it- DENG! It is so good, spiced perfectly, smooth, not all mayo goopy like Every other one I've tried! The shrimp was fresh! And spiced perfectly. Rice sticky and plentiful.

Only downside was the proportion was kind of small for takeout so I took a star off but otherwise this hibachi is FIRE! You can smell how good it is from the parking lot!
